Day 01 :

Drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap, Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding

Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap (Manthali Airport). Upon arrival, board a short mountain flight to Lukla (2,840m) the gateway to the Everest region. After meeting your trekking team, the trail descends towards Chheplung and follows the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful pine forests.

Day 02 :

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Trek: 5–6 hours
Altitude: 3,440 m

Today’s trek takes you through suspension bridges, small Sherpa hamlets, and forested valleys. After entering Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, the trail continues along the river until reaching the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. A steep ascent follows, leading you to the buzzing mountain town of Namche Bazaar, the commercial center of the Khumbu region.

Day 03 :

Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar

Acclimatization altitude: 3,440–3,900 m

To adapt to the thinning air, you’ll spend a day acclimatizing in Namche. Recommended activities:

Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku.
Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum or Namche Monastery.
Explore Namche’s cafes, bakeries, and local shops.

Day 04 :

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole

Trek: 5–6 hours

Leave Namche on a pleasant contouring trail with stunning views of Ama Dablam. After reaching Sanasa, the trail splits one heading to EBC and the other toward the Gokyo Valley. Climb steadily up to Mong La and descend to Phortse Tenga, then begin a long uphill hike through beautiful rhododendron and birch forests to reach Dole, your stop for the night.

Day 05 :

Trek from Dole to Machhermo

Trek: 4–5 hours
Altitude: 4,470 m

Today is a short but steady ascent along the valley. You’ll pass through Lhabarma and Luza, with magnificent views of Cho Oyu and the valley below. The trail gradually climbs to the yak pasture village of Machhermo, known for its open alpine scenery and peaceful environment.

Day 06 :

Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo

Trek: 4–5 hours
Altitude: 4,790 m

A breathtaking day as you enter the heart of the Gokyo Valley. The trail climbs slowly to the first Gokyo Lake (Longpongo), then continues past the second lake (Taujung Tsho) before finally reaching the iconic third lake, Dudh Pokhari, beside which lies Gokyo village. Snow-capped mountains surround the turquoise waters one of Nepal’s most beautiful landscapes.

Day 07 :

Hike to Gokyo Ri & Explore 4th/5th Lakes

Hike: 3–4 hours
Altitude (Gokyo Ri): 5,357 m

Start early and hike up to Gokyo Ri, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. From the summit, enjoy unmatched 360° views of Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and the Ngozumpa Glacier. After descending, explore the 4th and 5th lakes, which offer serene, less-crowded landscapes and dramatic Himalayan vistas.

Overnight in Gokyo.

Day 08 :

Trek from Gokyo to Thagnak

Trek: 3–4 hours
Altitude: 4,700 m

Cross the massive Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in the Himalayas. The route can be rocky and uneven but offers thrilling scenery. After the glacier crossing, you reach Thagnak, a small settlement at the base of the Cho La Pass. Rest well for tomorrow’s challenging pass.

Day 09 :

Cross Cho La Pass & Trek to Dzongla

Trek: 7–9 hours
Altitude (Cho La Pass): 5,420 m
Dzongla altitude: 4,830 m

Today is one of the hardest yet most rewarding days. Start early to climb the steep, icy approach to Cho La Pass. The ascent may involve snow patches and a glacier traverse. From the top, enjoy jaw-dropping views before descending a rocky trail to Dzongla, a quiet village with stunning views of Ama Dablam and Cholatse.

Day 10 :

Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche

Trek: 3–4 hours
Altitude: 4,910 m

A gentle day after yesterday’s challenge. Follow a scenic trail along the side of Taboche and Cholatse, eventually joining the main Everest Base Camp route. Continue ascending gradually to Lobuche, a popular stop for trekkers heading toward EBC.

Day 11 :

Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep & Return to Gorakshep

Trek: 7–8 hours
Altitude (Gorakshep): 5,140 m
Altitude (EBC): 5,364 m

Begin with a walk through the rocky Khumbu Glacier moraine until you reach Gorakshep, the last settlement before EBC. After a short break, continue towards Everest Base Camp—a dream destination for trekkers worldwide. Enjoy views of the Khumbu Icefall and take photos before returning to Gorakshep for the night.

Day 12 :

Hike to Kalapatthar & Trek Down to Pheriche

Trek: 5–6 hours
Altitude (Kalapatthar): 5,545 m

Start before sunrise to hike to Kalapatthar, the most famous viewpoint for close-up views of Mt. Everest. The golden morning light on Everest, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam is unforgettable. Descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue downhill toward Pheriche, a windy alpine village.

Day 13 :

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Trek: 6–7 hours
Altitude: 3,440 m

Retrace your steps through Pangboche, Tengboche, Phunki Tenga, and finally reach Namche Bazaar. The descent is long but scenic, with forests, monasteries, and river crossings along the way. Enjoy a warm shower, bakery treats, or a relaxing evening in town.

Day 14 :

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Trek: 6–7 hours
Altitude: 2,840 m

Continue descending toward Lukla, crossing suspension bridges and passing the familiar villages of Jorsalle, Monjo, and Phakding. The final climb to Lukla marks the end of your trekking adventure. Celebrate with your team and enjoy your last night in the mountains.

Day 15 :

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Flight: 15–20 minutes

Take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. After a scenic mountain flight, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of this incredible journey.
